About this deal

With the exception of our 20 mm wide Magnetic Tapes (which are self-pairing), you will need both A & B rolls if you wish for the magnets to attract to each other, if you're simply looking for the magnetic tape to attract to other steel / ferrous based surfaces then it doesn't matter if you use A, B or Self pairing as these magnetic tapes are all attracted to these surfaces. What is Magnetic Tape?

Reusable− It can remove a specific data and save another data at the same place. Therefore it can be reused. The key word is changing.A changing current produces a changing magnetic field, which randomizes the previous magnetization of tape. Strong Changing Current -> Induced Magnetic Field -> Randomize Tape Magnetism

Alternatively if you want to use both A & B sides of the tape follow the same procedure with the exception of using the A or B side to secure an object to the tape. Make sure that both the A & the B side are aligned with each other so that the tape works as effectively as possible. The tape begins affecting while in a gap and achieves its permanent speed by the time it arrives at the next record. Each record on tape has a recognition bit design at the starting and end. By reading the bit design at the starting, the tape control recognizes the data number. Application Areas of Magnetic Tapes

LTO-3, launched in 2004, added the write-once, read-many ( WORM) feature, which writes data to a tape one time and prevents its erasure. LTO-4 in 2007 provided data encryption. In 2010, LTO-5 added the Linear Tape File System, which provides for indexing and partitioning. All later LTO releases also include these features. Many motion picture production companies record their footage on tape after experiencing costly failures with both hard disk and flash. To put that into context, modern desktop PC hard drives typically have a capacity of anything from 1 to 16 terabytes. Despite this impressive magnetic tape storage capacity, alternative storage mediums are often preferred nowadays due to the various limitations of magnetic media. Tape capacity continues to grow. The LTO Program has a defined schedule for upcoming releases, and it typically launches a new version every two to three years. Customers can count on that reliable product roadmap.

Faraday’s First Law of Electromagnetic Induction: A change in magnetic flux passing through a coil induces a voltage in the coil. In layman’s terms, if a coil of wire is placed inside a magnetic field (the field of a bar magnet, for example), then a change in the strength of a magnetic field passing through the coil induces a voltage (and hence a current) in the coil.
