About this deal

Even in the case of the exclusive featurettes, they feel more like a remixing of the other featurettes than something unique unto itself. When she's not behind the keyboard typing away, she is travelling around the world, doing some yoga by the beach, weight lifting, and/or playing video games. The use of bass is excellent, it has great power for the dragons and even in the opening title score. It’s a shame, though, there are not any audio commentaries on any of the episodes from Condal, Sapochnik, Martin or the cast.

Everyone is the cast is great, but particular praise has to go to Paddy Considine who plays King Viserys Targaryen. There’s some great depth at what they were looking for in terms of casting, how to differentiate it from Game of Thrones and the filming locations, including the construction of the Red Keep which is just one giant set with multiple levels and rooms, showing Rhaenyra’s ascent to the Queen’s room in episode six wasn’t achieved through some visual trickery, but by actually following Emma D’Arcy from one room in the set to another. All the other technical aspects are superb just as you would expect- VFX, Costumes, Set design, etc. Cast: Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Milly Alcock, Emily Carey, Fabien Frankel, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno. Set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series finds the Targaryens ruling over the Seven Kingdoms – and on the brink of a civil war within their own house. It would have been great to hear their further insight into episodes like ‘The Heirs of the Dragon’, ‘We Light The Way’, ‘Driftmark’, ‘The Lords of the Tides’ and ‘The Black Queen’.

Die Personen erscheinen noch etwas fremd durch den Game of Thrones Einstieg, aber daran gewöhnt man sich auch. Some features only scratch the surface and can be repetitive with the same soundbites being used, but overall you get a ton of intriguing insight into House of the Dragon‘s development. What a fantastic opportunity this could have been to offer fans of this beloved show audio commentary, bloopers, or deleted scenes. House of the Dragon was easily one of my favorite shows of this year, so when given the opportunity to review the Season 1 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, I jumped at it. She is a big ole nerd when it comes to sci-fi and fantasy stories, her favorite TV shows being Battlestar Galactica, Game of Thrones (not you, Season 8), and House of the Dragon. Much like the first season of Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon is engrossing right from the start with its characters, played by an excellent cast, and its story.

Unfortunately, there are no deleted scenes anywhere on these discs, and neither are the “Next Episode” trailers or “Inside the Episode” minidocs after each episode on HBO and HBO Max.She has written for The Beat and Nerdophiles, hosted the Matrix 404 podcast, and has appeared on several other podcasts. I've heard some people on streaming services turning off Dolby Vision and HDR10 so they can watch it in SDR. The news articles, Tweets, and blog posts do not represent IMDb's opinions nor can we guarantee that the reporting therein is completely factual. finesse in production design (no errant coffee cups that I noticed) and costuming, if occasionally less than completely convincing CGI. Anything is possible and it's best to go in with limited expectations to avoid getting your hopes up which is exactly what I've been doing.
