About this deal

ALinkttPresent There's very little consistency between any two review scores anywhere, which is why many game reviews have done away with ratings entirely and opt for a simple "Recommended" stamp and maybe a pros/cons list. I can't believe the option to play inverted hasn't been included for Sunshine, but at least the fact they've normalised the controls is an admission that they were wrong in the first place. If you’ve never played any of these games before, especially Galaxy, you can go ahead and add an extra point to the score below; these are three iconic titles, each special in their own way, and with a total of 482 Stars and Shines to collect across all three games, there’s maybe nearly 100 hours of gameplay in here before everything’s fully completed (especially if you haven’t played them and don’t know how to find each one). Something thought to be perhaps a little too Japan specific, prettied up and released world-wide for GameCube in very well localized versions, all stuffed with 10+ full versions of NES classics.

The un-reversed camera controls means that it is Stick-up and the camera is going up, stick-down and the camera is going down? And I DEFINITELY don't agree that this is the "best-looking" or "definitive version" of the game when Super Mario 64 DS is a thing. Even though I thought I loved all 3 games, I can't help but feel completely underwhelmed by the package overall. I am happy I never sold my Wii because I loaned it to my sister for about 10 years and got it back recently since she didn’t want it any more. Graphical upgrades are nice, but if the gameplay is completely different from the original what's the point?I mention that because the one game I wanted out of the collection most doesn't use the dual sticks switch has to offer. For this reason and many others unless we have another technological leap of such magnitude, SM64 will always be the greatest game of all time (closely followed by OoT).

Is Super Mario 3D World /Bowser's Fury also going to be a "limited release" like All Stars when it comes out in February? I think the biggest difference between this All Stars collection and the Crash and Spyro remasters is that I actually want to play the Mario games. Rumor: Super Mario back catalog and several other Mario titles coming to Switch in 2020 [Update 2]". It makes perfect sense to review those aspects of a product, but very little since for the product to score lower than another product that is exactly the same but only 1/3 of it.There is one other way to move the cursor in Galaxy, and that’s by playing the game in handheld mode and using the touch screen. According to these reports, Nintendo planned to announce it during a Mario-themed presentation at E3 2020, but this was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He did wish Nintendo had added "some quality-of-life upgrades", feeling players experiencing the game for the first time "might find it somewhat inaccessible". Sunshine and Galaxy look lovely in HD, I'd even go so far and claim Galaxy in HD looks better than Odyssey which is crazy.

Don't quote me on this, but Galaxy 2 not making the cut was probably because of its frantic pointer controls during most Yoshi stages. So that’s all three games; each one looks better than it ever has in an official Nintendo release, and each has received a few tweaks here and there that by and large enhance the experience.
